The Forestry Co. Ltd. is a Bahamian owned logging company. We harvest the most valuable pine (pinus caribaea var. bahamensis) from the 500,000 acres of vast Bahamian forests where a natural termite and pine shoot moth resistant species grows. With the use of state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to process the highest grade lumber at a remarkable rate of 180,000 plus board feet per month, while also preserving the natural habitat and sustainable future of the forest.
Pine tree density in "old growth" (uncut) areas, are 438 trees per hectare, compared to 846 trees per hectare in "new growth" (cut) areas. Reseeding from seed trees left from past logging has been successful, and natural "self thinning" is occurring in our pine forests.
With The Forestry Co. Ltd.'s efficient equipment and machinery, monopolization opportunity, knowledgeable team, high quality natural resource, and the everlasting need for pine, our profit margins are unbelievably high.
Our founder has gone to great lengths to find people with a passion for learning, mentoring, and sharing their knowledge. We have spent hundreds of hours researching, studying, and dissecting the industry before deciding to move forward with this once in a lifetime venture.

At this time, The Forestry Co. Ltd. is in the process of raising the capital needed to fund this once in a lifetime venture opportunity. With sharp and shrewd investors backing our driven and knowledgeable team, we can ac complish our startup goal, and start the process of monopolizing the industry.

Situated in the hurricane belt, we have experienced hurricanes on an almost annual bases in recent years. Wood sales, specifically pine as it is affordable, skyrocket during hurricane preparation. As the only pine lumber provider in the Bahamas, The Forestry Co. Ltd. will easily capitalize on this seasonal opportunity.
Much of the negative perception that The Forestry Co. Ltd. may receive, comes from the view that the forestry industry is "an industrial machine" that focuses on profits and has little regard for the environment. We can deter this threat with educational initiatives such as scholarship offers and educational paraphernalia for the community at large.
"Reviving the logging industry could generate
numerous entrepreneurial opportunities and
allow Bahamians to tap into a market worth
an estimated $160 million. We are now
encouraging Bahamians to get involved in
this sector. Studies have shown that our
pine trees are among the fastest growing in
the world and also produces a uniquely hard
and attractive lumber that is highly resistant
to termites. You can imagine the potential
for sustainable forestry activities."
